He could tell you whatever he wants, but this would be the first question I would ask. Just ask him what he's looking to get out of it and go from there. You can talk him down for the condition of the paint and whatever the heck is going on down by the lower heat shield. Looks like some Jerry riggin' going on. I wouldn't give him more than $4500 for it. That's just me though. Good luck.

P.S. Ask for any documentation. (receipts, warranty, racall info, everything) When I say warranty, I mean on parts.

The guy's a good friend, and a notable guy around here with the ricers for being pretty quick. I've seen it run at the track many times, and it's not "jerry-rigged." The only ghetto thing about it is the fact he has like dasani bottle as his radiator reservoir, which can be easily replaced with a proper relocation of the reservoir, which he planned to do, then decided to sell.


He's selling it because he can't afford the insurance, or further mods to it, since he just bought a new Mustang Cobra SVT.

He's asken 5 even for it. For 5.2 I can get it, GM MAF, MAF Translator, and a stainless steel clutch line, all new in the bag.

Also has some HKS 272 cams sitten around...hrmmm...

Hey man, I wasn't trying to offend you or discredit your friend, I couldn't really make out what was going on in the pic. It just looked strange. Sorry. I would give 5 for it if he threw in the cams and the other stuff though.

The cams are like almost 300 a piece? Brand new? Unused MAF/Trans Unused clutch line....I wouldn't give anybody that for free :\

I'll prolly end up doing the 5200 and getten the maf/trans/clutch line :\. All the other ones are like 2 days drives away, or in junk yards....
