Hey, Im going to be changing my radiator in the next 2 weeks so I wanted to get a slim fan because the one fan I have right now its too fat and it needs to be ziptied to the bracket to be held there :| I wanted to buy an aluminum radiator with a skinny fan to fit in because the stock fan hits my turbo outlet (see in pic). I was looking on ebay for a radiator and came across this one and seemed like a good deal.

Also could I wire both of those fans to one since I dont have a/c and only one turns on normally so it could be more efficient??

here is a link to ebay:
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

and a pic of my engine bay showing current setup..and dont mind the missing stuff, its an old pic and most of it has been changed :thumb:

Terrible fans, you'll loose cooling efficiency with those fans as they will not pull nearly enough air as the oem fan did as the OEM pulls around 1600 cfm.

Get yourself a couple SPAL fans. This is the process I have gone through and it's worth reading through them.

I got my fans from The-Fan-Man spal fan manufacturers, electric automotive cooling fans but I went and checked specifications of the fans here.

I'm not sure about the radiator, as I haven't heard/experienced anything about it. Honestly, I'm very skeptical of ebay parts. However, as for the fans, they should be much slimmer than stock and should fix the problem you're having with hitting the turbo. If you look on the ad it gives the fan's dimensions (10x10x3) so just measure the stock fan you have now to see how much smaller the ebay one would be.

Hope that helps.

I just read thru your posts liquidx but im not really having overheating issues and it runs at operating temps at all times. Do you think I could run both of those fans to one switch and so they both turn on and in turn that makes the number doubled?

and thanks for the suggestion korupt3d! ill give that a try.

My heating issues were from using cheap-o fans after removing the stock ones. Compare the CFM from a name brand (Misihmoto) fan and the SPAL fans I then put on.

I bought an ebay radiator (cxracing/punishment racing) came with two fans and a shroud. The fans are garbage. The wireing burnt up on both. Due to the fans unknown CFM, I have an over heating issue when I run my a/c I need to get a set of spall fans before spring kicks in and the heat kicks my a**.
