There going to have some when using the stock bushings, the less the better though, my best advice would be to pop them out and install 2 skateboard bearings per cable and that will make a world of difference

Two skateboard bearings will fit on each cable? And should he (me) keep the bushings in with the bearings also?

Sorru dont mean to jack your thread

Yes remove the stock bushings, sometimes they can be hard to get in, put the bearings in the freezer for a few hours, grab a small torch and heat the ends of the cables, grab the bearings and press one into the ring with a pair of vice grips and install, then put the other bearing infront of it, in my case i ran a bead of weld around the two mating them together then put them in my bench grinder til they almost fit into the rings and pressed them in with a socket and a quickgrip clamp

They should all be the same size also, but i recommend if you have a skateshop just go in and ask if they have any old bearings there tossing out, or i believe walmart has cheap bearings, they dont have to be nice bearings its not going to help you shift faster
