how much oil burning is normal

I was wondering. How much oil would I typically lose out of normal wear and tear in a pretty heavily modified GSX with only 68K. The turbo is quite new so I haven't even bothered looking for shaft play. If I keep noticing the amount of oil consistently going down (about half a quart every 2 weeks). I'll take it to get a compresion test. Does anyone else notice similar type of oil loss.

My car at 150k burns 1q of oil every 400 miles :thumbdown

Time doesn't mean shit. Do you drive 10,000 miles a week, or five?

A healthy motor should get an easy 3,000 miles per quart.

well then, I may have a problem somewhere cuz I'd say I probably burn about a quart every 4 or 500 miles. No smoke color, I can't see a leak, but its going somewhere.
