So I am in the process of changing my clutch and well when i pulled the intake pipe off from the box to the turbo there was some oil in it, not a lot just a little bit. There is no shaft play at all up or down nor side to side.. is this a big problem? Just want to know if its common or not.

more then likely your pulling in some oil from your valve cover where it uses vacuum from your intake pipe, this isn't that big of a deal. You can just buy a catch can, or a fuel filter to get rid of this.

New cars do it, too. ;) Though the fuel filter is "classic" DSM DIY, go with a decent catch can.

Thank you. That is what i wanted to hear..now about the catch can hook up, would i go about doing this..never put one in before, didnt think they were a big deal really.

You can google search it just type in " dsm catch can setup" or search on here there is countless threads on it, basically all you want to do is get a good catch can like Lando pointed out, setup a line coming out of the valve to the can then a line from the can to your intake. nothing to complicated

The shaft play of a turbo can go up ad down slightly but if it goes in and out Front to Back the Rear seal could be blown. bet check that before u waste your time GOOGLE you tube proper turbo check

i take it you didnt read it right, there is zero shaft play in any direction. if a mod will please mark this resolved id like that, as i dont know how to or if i can.
