How much for 3000gt or stealth?

I have a 90 gsx i paid 1800 cash for it, 136K on it. Good shape, ran great. I have a chance to sell it for 3400. Would 3400 be enough to find a Twin Turbo 3000gt, or stealth? Im about 99% sure it not. But how much more would i need? I have wanted one of those for a while, should i keep my car or what? Im in a pickle.

im not sure about in your area but the only one i have seen in my area is about 6500 . its the only one in good condition ive seen around here. check auto trader and your local trading post papers for an idea.

To the original poster: You'd be hard pressed to find a good shape 2g for that kind of cash, let alone a 3000GT or Stealth TT.
You're basically doubling your money if you sell your car though, if you're not particularly attached ( remember it has high miles), my advice is to sell and pick up another for ~$2000.

go to 3si.org and find out for yourself,... research is the best way to find something out... you have your own opinion, go find out all the facts and make the choice you feel is right...after i first bought my car, one of my teachers offered me 1k more than i paid, but my talon was too important to me to sell it...make your choice based on what you want....(and if you ever somehow get 20k+, talk to decompressor on 3si.org, he finds tt's with less than 10k miles on them all the time.. he sold a green 92 stealth tt with 2k miles on it once...DAMN)

regardless of whether or not you find that stealth 3000gt 2g, spyder, ferrari... whatever youre looking for... selling the car for double the price you bought it for is definitely an ideal situation. i'd let go of that sucker right away - is keeping the car for it's sentimental value worth 1,800 cash profit?.

dump it now before the buyer changes his mind and pick up another car with lower miles. =)
