Stealth or turbo

Alright, I've been looking for an Eclipse Gs-t or Gsx or a Talon TSI for the last month or so under or around 7000 dollars. So far I've had no luck, but today I did come across a 92 Dodge Stealth ES. I read up and the ES supposedly puts out 222 horsepower and it looks good. What do you guys think, keep waiting for a turbo DSM (2nd G only) to come along, or go for the Stealth?

i guess it depends on if you want to modify the car or not. what are your plans with this car? how fast would you like to go

i would most likely stick with the dsm though

Personally I would still look for a GSX or TSI the Stealth (while having 220 hp) isn't as tweakable as a DSM. If you are looking for a daily driver and thats all then the stealth might be a better bet, however if you want performance go DSM. Now if you were looking at a Stealth R/T TT AWD it would be a diff story........ (mmmm Twin turbos, )

Those non-turbo stealths and 3000gts are quite slow. I'd go turbo DSM or turbo stealth/3000gt.

The 222hp dodge stealths are slow and heavy. Buy a dsm.

actually stealths are actually dsm. they are the same car as a 3kgt. the es is like the sl and the r/t turbo is like the vr4tt. they are both twin turbo. but if i were you i would look for just the turbo model cars you like for they are a lot easier to tune than n/a and they are great daily drivers.

No they are not DSM's but they are both made under the joint chrysler/mitsu old partnership.

That would practically make 2Gs not DSMs. But if your I guess thinking that they had to include all three companies to form the DSM name then ok. Although I thought those were DSMs too.

I love the Stealths. But I fear I'd worry about one too much. Maybe I've heard too many "bad" stories, like people focus on 2G crankwalk.
