I have a 95 talon awd with -5 speed
-Rebuilt 6bolt
-arp rod bolts and head studs
-7bolt head
-tdo4hl-15t turbo
-2g turbo flange(td05)
-ported evo 3 manifold
-rc 550 cc injectors
-apexi safc 2
-apexi n1 turbo back 3inch exhaust
-shepard stage 2 trans
-centerforce dual friction clutch
-prothane motor mounts
-solid driveshaft carrier bushings
-18 inch motegi formula 5 rims
-Walbro 255
-big fmic...and I was wondering how much boost I can run off of this setup?

Oh and forgot I have greddy type rs bov and hard piping...I have the bov to atmosphere now...should I recirculate? And should i have it set more to hard or soft

Interesting turbo choice, may I ask why you went with a TD04hl-15t turbo?

Posting questions such as how much boost and should I vent, will get you the same response here, SEARCH:

Do you have a picture of the turbo, maybe he meant it was a t-25 since thats the stock turbo on the 2gs

Your supporting mods will allow you to upgrade to a larger turbo, larger turbine wheel and compressor. 14b is a very common upgrade for the 2g, and a huge upgrade compared to your current turbo.

Even if you max that turbo out. You will be fine. It doesn't flow enough air.

It comes down to airflow and cylinder pressure. Not PSI.

You need to recirculate the BOV.

I'll take a pic tomoro...it says right on it what I have typed...I looked it up...its a common turbo for saabs...where can I get a 14b and what all do I need with it? How do I go about maxing the one I have out? What can I do for more air flow and cylinder pressure?

14bs came stock on 1g manuals. You need a new feed and possibly return oil lines. You can find these used pretty common. They are very good turbos, excellent choice for your setup(or 16g). Youll need a jpipe to go with it and a fitting to make the fmic attach to the jpipe.
To get more lbs/min? Simple, a bigger turbo. 10psi on a 14b is nothing compared to 10psi on a hx40 or fp green etc. etc. Psi is just a measurment of pressure not a CFM reading. You want to flow as much air, at whatever pressure, you can through the engine to get the most HP. Simple right?

Maxing out the turbo you have: Get a boost controller and crank up the boost. As long as you have the fuel mods and arent getting knock thats all you can do. It WILL shorten the life of the turbo quite drastically though. And your IATs, even with the fmic, will increase at high psi on a small turbo. Just the way it works..

where to get 14b's? junk yard, craigslist, or even the classifieds on here

like they said its all about cfm not psi!!!! and about 550-600 cfm max for stock six bolt! is what i suggest. and i always gone for

Wow 22 really? I'm at 14 right now...I'm not 100% sure how to use the safc 2 the guy I bought it from tuned it before I bought it...can anyone help me on what to do to my safc when increasing my psi? How do I check my cfm?
