How much boost can a 2G Stock Head & Bottom End hold up to?

why does everybody refer to the 6-bolt all the time, the early 7 bolt was also never heard of crankwalk like in the 92-94. That motor is still a strong one

i'm running 23-25 psi on my 14b with all stock internals, and stock smic. i've done it on 103 race gas, and 94 octane pump. i leave it set at 23. but usually i only see 20psi daily, unless i decide to get on it hard in 4th or 5th gear.

the 14b is a bit different than the t25....if you look at DSMtimes.org you can easily see how that is true. The fastest AWD w/ t25 went 13.4, and there were very few other t25s that were in that neighborhood.

The fastest 14b went 12.02! OMG now thats pretty damn good for a 14b if you ask me.

The 14b has gone 11.8 recently with full supporting mods. The 12.02 time was done with minimal mods. The T25 still sucks.

damn, i wanted to shoot for the first 11 sec. 14b. i'll be happy with the fastest 2g 14b though.
