how many bolts needed to hook the turbo to the manifold on a 14b to a 1g manifold

i4 bolts with spring washers i believe (same as 16g i think) Slow Boy Racing has a nice kit with the bolts and washers i think for like 40 bucks .

isn't one of the four bolts a stud?

From the factory yes one of them is a stud, and it should be replaced whenever you pull the turbo from the manifold for the first time
