Fresh stock 2g head, you could rev it to 8k if you had the manifold,CAMS, and turbo to flow up to that rpm. The head ports itself will not restrict you at 500hp. Good luck and be smart.

I am going to say this first before I tell you what I do, don't try to do what I do, you'll get in trouble. I have taken fp2 cams on evo springs and retainers to 8750 multiple times. And viewing logs the power did not fall off that much due to all the listed above supporting mods.

and fix your thread title

i see :) well the revs on my car aren't passing 7k and ima have the turbo for it and fuel and everything else except touching the head internally stock cams stock springs stock valve job. how much can the head hold at 7k revs?

If you run a 2g head on a 6bolt block, make sure you are able to get enough oil to the head. The head studs for a 6 bolt block are much larger in diamater to the 7 bolt and one of the head stud pathways has the entire oil flow for the head going through it. You may be able to shove the 7 bolt head onto the studs but if they have no clearance from the walls of the casting you will not get enough oil flow.

It is outlined on 4G63T Head oil port mod and also Oil port mod #2 for the 4G63t

I know that is not the info you were looking for, but if you get zero oil to the head, you will be able to push 0 hp :rocks:

These cars heads are by far not the choke point. The choke points are all the bolt on mods. You can make 600whp on stock head, intake manifold and block as long as the tune is safe. Its all in the tune. Spend the money where it counts, turbo, EMS, fuel mods, and you will do fine.
