How hard will it be to sawp my engine for a turbo one?
Will the engine mounts alight ?
Can I use my trans or do I need a trans from the turbo?

Im not going to sell my car si please dont sugest it.

you could witha lot of fabrication, but why bother? just buy a turbo kit for your engine, a 420A is a good contender to the 4g63, just build a turbo engine out of it, it will be a lot cheaper in the end

For the amount of money you'll spend fabricating, welding, all the new stuff such as ecu, trans, etc., you'll end up spending more money than if you just sold your car & bought a turbo model. Thing is, you'll still end up with just 210-hp. Just turbo your own engine. Then build up the internals & turn up the boost. You'll be running like 300-hp by then. More than enough to smoke a stock turbo model.
Check out www.hahnracecraft.com for some good turbo kits.
Good luck.:thumb:

Ok. My wife is screaming because the kits cost a bunch. She thinks that if I get a turbo car from a five finger swap meet it will be cheaper, so I just asked. I would live the kit. On top of the Kit I would have to add some internals so I would end up spending to much .
WIll my OEM internals take the boost.?

Ok kool. I was thinking on making my own turbo with the write uo at the beggining of the threds.
Butit seemd like it would be as expensive and more work. I dont know if the reliability would be the same as if bought a kit.

You don't need to buy your own internals... they come with the kit where needed... whatever you need comes in the kit just stay around the recomended boost amount. I also say stick with the 420A and leave any clues that your car is N/A on... then one someone trys to mess with you blow their doors off!:thumb: :dsm:

For the price, you're better off taking the 420a, and dropping in a bottom end rebuild kit (rods/pistons) . . .

Stock, the 420a rods should be able to hold until about 250hp.. .putting in the bottom end rebuild should be around $1k, then another - $2-3k for a HRC/Star kit.. and you're done.. you'll save a few k over the tubo swap, and you don't have to deal with ECU issues.
