How Does this sound?

As some of you know from my other thread, my 92 talon tsi awd has a bad piston ring, and 3 bad exhaust valves. Ive been looking at some parts, and decided to get 2g 8.5:1 pistons, SS valves, MLS headgasket, and a ported 2g exhaust manifold. Now my question is, will I be alright to run those pistons? Also, should I get new rods too? My car is stock right now, but will have the manifold, intake, 3" turbo back exhaust, manual boost controller, AFPR, and new fuel pump/injectors.

What year/model of car do you have? If you are going with 2G pistons then I would mate them with 1G big rods.

I have a 92 TSI AWD...they should be fine with those rods right?

You can use those rods but big rods from the 90-91 trubos will be able to handle more power.
