Total build is

going to run about $2285 give or take plus shipping and handling. I can't wait to see what kind of hp I can put down after this. Guys can you tell me if I am missing anything? I am really only aiming for low 13's and want to keep my car mostly legal, so that is why im am not swapping stock exaust cat-back.. But I cant help but to wonder if I will maybe need a new fuel pump and fuel rails or are the stock ones fine? Any suggestions for my list or what I may be missing is greatly appreciated. If you havn't notice im trying to make a build with as little tuning as possible because I am not overly power hungry, I am just trying to make it a little more zippy :D

For low 13's you can get bye with the stock rail, it's fairly large and can flow enough fuel for 10s. I would, however, do a 190lph pump and rewire. That should do you well for your goals without added unneeded complexity that a 255hp pump would.

Missing intercooler? I would also add some fp2 camshafts and you will be good for low 13's all day if you can get traction.

Why can't you swap out the stock cat-back and remain legal? All you usually have to do is keep a catalytic converter in there somewhere. A cat and a muffler. And if you go with something other than a coffee can for a muffler, most people wouldn't know that it wasn't stock.

You can get a cat-back exhaust in Washington, you just cant remove the cat. The cat-back exhaust goes up to the cat without removing it. The magen racing downpipe DOES delete the cat. here is a link to were it sais that (magenracing downpipe)

Edit: The only downpipe that I have seen that keeps the cat is the RRE downpipe. It is a short downpipe and you bolt on the high flow cat to it. here is the link RRE exhaust.

Also I missed that you don't have an intercooler, that's a pretty important part there. A larger sidemount would work and would keep your car somewhat more sleeper-ish, but one of the cheaper FMICs should also do fine.

Technically, you aren't legally (federal) allowed to remove a working cat from a car. If you need to pass emissions, get a good cat. If you just need to pass a visual check, most any "cat" will do. Most visual inspections would just be happy to see a cat and full exhaust.

I would suggest just porting the exhaust manifold and 02 housing so that you can get dsmlink setup instead of SAFC, in the lond run it will be money much much better spent.

I will probably just end up porting a cat that looks extremely similar to stock but still gives better flow, that way I can stick with the exhaust I selected. As far as visual, I dont think that will be a prob. My only worry is being stopped by the cops for any "visual" illegal standouts like the exhaust tip. My friend has a very huge tip and he gets ticketed all the time for it. Basically as long as my car passes emissions and looks stock from the outside I am happy.
