How does my throttle body look, etc?

I honnestly don't have an answer, but that looked 10 times worse than mine that has 170K on it.

Hm, cleaned off ok with some throttle body cleaner.

I wonder if all the grime is from the egr. I don't really wanna block it off, but I wonder if it's working right.... I did notice that on of the bottom lines next to the coolant, the vac line had a drop or 2 of oil in it. Is that the EGR vac line? I'm not sure why it's that bad... Those runners look like crap.

I'd hate to see what my intake valves look like... OMG

The build up is probably from PCV blow-by unless your shoting black smoke out the tail pipe its probably not from your EGR. Are you using a catch-can or simple PCV Breather filter. I think you should drop everything your doing and buy/install one, then FOR THE LOVE OF DSMs remove your intercooler and give it a through cleaning.

Seal one end of the intercooler and poor rubbing alcohol. Then seal the other end and shake the crap out out of it. Rinse and repeat until it comes out clean then let it dry out. Nothing like cheap HP's from reduced heatsoak about $0.97 per liter at a drug store. If your running a EVO16G and a intercooler upgrade is on your wish list I'm sure heatsoak is already a problem for ya so this may help.
