How do you remove 1g footwell carpets???

Once again my Chiltons was no help.

There are these circular plasic things about the size of a halfdollar holding the carpet to the footwell on the radio/ac side.

How do you get these out? I pulled real hard and i thinkif i pulled anymore it would have broke. I tryed twisting them to unscrew and that also didnt work.

I want to take out the factory amp but these carpets are over the screws.

Anybody know how?

they just unscrew, they may be stripped out so if u can uscrew and pull on carpet at same time they should come out. i think i got mine out by pulling on the carpet till they poped off.

The circular plastic piece can just be pulled off.

Under each one, there is a screw to be taken off.

Then you just pull the panel off.
