On my 91 you just twist it off on my 94 it wont budge and i dont want to break it trying. Is it glued on or something? Anyone know?

Its glued, but it should just twist off. Nothing special. If its the first time its been off, then you may have to put some muscle into it. This is a manual knob right?

If you can't get it by hand then put a towel or rag over it for protection then use an adjustabe wrench/plumber's wrench or the like to get some torque on it.

anytime i drove the old 1g past a farm the mares would follow me as far as the fence would let them.

Had the old Batman handle on my GS-T... GSX came with a cruddy plastic 'CF' knob. Have since replaced it with a 2G OEM knob.. much better. Still want to hang onto one of the 1G knobs just as a gag gift... put it on someone's 2G when they aren't looking. :D

And yeah, just put some more muscle into it. Screws off just like normal. Might want to push the top of the shift boot down a little too while you do it, so you don't get any excess friction from the little rubber ring thing.
