How do I tell???

I went to the dealership today and looked at a GS-T it had 163000 miles on the odometer teh guy said tat the owner got an engine swap... is there anyway i can find out if this is true and how many miles there are on it?

i would say a swap is unlikely, but maybe a different head or something small like that

just sit down next to the car rub his oil pan and get to know him give him a couple of shots of 110oct... and eventualy hell tell you everything he knows...

i think you could compare the vin number on the dash/doors to the vin on the engine and see if the match,if not run a carfax report on the engine vin to see the car/engine history,you might be able to get a free carfax report from a member that has unlimited carfax reports for a month.
