I am trying to get my gauge cluster out and I cant seem to get the black housing that is infront of the gauges off. I consulted the "trusty" chilton manual and it told me basically nothing like always. So I removed the two screws that hold it in on the underside of the bezel and then pulled but it wont come out????? Someone tell me how to get that piece out???

Pull harder.... Seriously. Once you remove the two screws at the top, there is only two little clips at the bottom that hold the black trim piece on. Just pull really hard and it will come off. It made it easier for me to remove the plastic from around the steering column first. Allows more room to work...... Hope this helps :thumb:

So if I just keep pulling it wont break??? It seems like its almost glued in!!???

put your hands on the far right, and far left, a little bit inside, the reason i say this is so your not pulling on the thinnest part.

Then pull the bottom TOWARDs you, straight towards you.

Itll pop.

the top two screw have been removed correct?

Ya ive removed the top two screws. But like I said it feels like its glued in?? I cant really get my fingers inbetween the dash and the bezel? Its too tight. So are you saying just "grab" with lfingertip grip?? I'll give it a shot.

i jammed a screw driver below the bezel and pryed outward... it popped with no problem... but after getting it out i noticed that what i did there could potentially break it... guess i was lucky.
