1G How do I reattach this screw cover?

I don't even know what this piece is called but both sides have come loose. Is it just double sided tape that holds it in place?

3M double sided tape seems to be the answer. I'll try the same stuff I use for the rest of the body trim to see how flush it sits and hope it doesn't fall off.

Looks like double sided tape is the go to. This place that reproduces this cover uses double sided tape.
