How do i know if shocks are blown?

Any way of knowing without taking them out??
I have sportlines on my front illumina shocks and rear KYB shocks and the ride is harsh and bouncy.

So it could be the shocks? not the lowering springs?

If a spring is bad, there will be an uneven height on opposite sides of the car.

The shocks will make your ride harsher than normal and would bottom out everytime you go through a hump.

Bad spring- sagging car.
Bad shock- bed srping; bounca, bounca, bounca. i.e. no spring control.

it'll feel like a buick on chopped springs... kinda like my 94 TSi AWD right now...

that'll be fixed very soon though

Pull the shock off the car. There should be even resistance throughout the stroke. If there is no resistance, or if it changes force somethwhere in the stroke, it is bad.
