hey

Ive read up on how to hook up a boostcontroller when using a 2 ported wastegate (boost to the lower port and boost thru the bleeder valve to the top of the wastegate)

Now i understand how this works, but this and all the answers i have seen has been for the bleeder type controller.
I have a spring and ball type and from my reasoning you cant hook it up the same way (that would result in the same as having no b\c until the boost reaches the set pressure of the ball and spring valve, at wich point the boost will work to hold the gate closed)

I have a 2 ported Tial F41WG

So i need help understanding how i hook up a ball and spring type b\c because that is what i have.

thanks

The inlet side is attached to your boost source. Dedicated line (DO NOT TEE) tapped as close to the generating source (turbo) as possible. The inlet side is the ball side, the outlet is the spring side (or the side that would have a thumb screw) if you were to take it apart. The compressor housing is the optimal spot. The outlet goes to the wastegate.

You want your lines as short as possible.

alright thanks!
I actually saw that page before but i was confused because the wastegate on that illustration only had one port.

edit: oh by the way, i got the 0.9bar spring, does this mean 0.9bar of the exhaust gasses? and how much pressure does the exhaust gas reach at say under a boost in the intake manifold at 0.9bar?

to clarify the question: is the pressure of the exhaust gasses equivalent to the boost in the intake manifold?
