How do I get to the top half of the wiring harness on downstream o2 sensor?

Ok, I tried this on 2GNT, no luck.

Basically I am trying to completely replace the downstream after-catalyst o2 sensor. In order to do this without soldering, I need to pop the boot out and disconnect the harness inside the car, then push it all out.. (and replace with my new one)

What I want to know = what should I remove in order to get this done? drivers seat? center console?

ok i figured it out, found the slit in the carpet underneath the drivers side seat... pulled seat... (smacked the plastic retainer thing around a bit and everything came out... score)

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but I am replacing my exhaust and I noticed that my o2 sensor pigtail went up through a hole and disappeared. In the event I do have to replace mine is it the same to get to as above? Remove the drivers seat and carpet?

You can unscrew the 02 sensor out of the bung with a 02 socket.
You can get them at autozone for $10.
That way you can reuse the old 02 sensor instead of buying a new $50 one.
If you do want to replace it, then yes do as stated above.

Yeah I already have it out, it came out a lot easier then I thought it would too! The wires twisted up a bit when I was unscrewing it though so I figured i'd investigate it now instead of frustrated in the moment. Thanks so much!

i have to replace mine now
accidently broke it while tryin to get the exhaust apart from the cat
so do i have to remove the whole seat?? to get to the top?
