How did you get that 60ft?

I've searched and unless I missed the thread, there really arn't any good topics about susp setups. So, lets start one.
Lets hear about your 60ft time, spring rates, what coilovers-drop springs, caster camber settings you are running.
FWD and AWD are welcome. Though, I'm more inclined to hear about AWD setups.

There are guys on here much quicker than me. I was able to cut a few 1.6X 60 foot times on Federal Street tires using Eibach Prokits and Tokiko Illuminas. I pretty much just set the front's to the softest setting and the rears to the hardest. Ran about 28psi in the tires and the dual staged at 5750.

This was all with my old stock motor and 16G. I haven't been able to drag race with the 2.3 and my JIC suspension yet.

Thats exactly the kind of info i'd like you guys to post.

I'm dealing with the same issues. My old car i dipped in to a couple 1.6s with a best of 1.65 60' with a eibach pro kit and rear agx on hard stock front shocks.

My laser now i have intrax 2" springs, agx's , camber kit, rear upper adjustable control arms and i'm yet to nail a 1.6. I may end up going back to the prokit eventually.

Nice thread, I would like to see what the FWD guys are doing.

I agree. Plenty of threads on how to make the power, None on how to get it to the ground.

^^^ And considering my dsm is mainly for the 1320, this can be a problem. As i fight to get a good 60' time, it won't get any easier with an extra 150+ whp from a holset.

I hear ya. I've got a Holset that will be on the car this month. :hellyeah:

1.700 ECM link set at 5,500 with anti-lag, using stock spring and tokiko struts 18" wheels with Nankang tires.

While not great, I did a 1.79, spinning all four 215/55/16 kumho ecsta spt's, and this was on blown stock suspension. I also used my own anti lag, I was leaving the line at 6000 at 35psi.

Perrty damn good for a fwd on street tires.:thumb:

My bad, LOL
I'm not completely sober:rolleyes:

hehe me either.

but on the topic of the thread, the key is drop that clutch veeeerrrrry aggressively.

Also make ## car not squat like a sow in heat, thats waisted energy.

Also that active toe shit is garbage for good 60's.

Put limiter straps on the front.

AWD guys need to use both the FWD tricks and the RWD tricks, in the right combination to get them 60's goin.

1.24 on KYB AGXs with some eibach springs on M/T slicks. Nothing special, no crazy expensive shocks or anything like that.

Seriously low 60ft there. OMG

I haven't been to the track with this setup yet, but i did one run using a G-meter on the street and i got 1.7x in 30 degree weather spinning 235/45/17 Eagle F1s leaving at 5250, with approx 10psi at launch, 2-step only, not using anti-lag. I will turn the RPM up in warmer weather, but during the winter it was pointless, the car just wouldn't hook up.

H&R race springs, GAB dampeners, poly bushings throughout the suspension. Stock camber in front, -1.5 in rear (not setup for drag). Toe near neutral in front and rear.

Anyone have pics of limiter straps up front? Also, Where they are attached.

What does the car run in the quarter? Its almost unbelievable unless you run 8s..

its been 8.8 at 145 on the old setup. On the new setup it went 8.9 at 165 with like a 1.6 60ft. The car should prob go 8.0s and hopefully go in the 7s. the car makes A LOT more power then it did when it went 8.8, so we'll see. Its our shop car. Pollo Performance

About to say LOL. I didn't see any wrinkle walls in that avatar. Sick launching
