Anyone know how you do this to your headlights and what it's called?

yeah, its called the Silvia headlight conversion. :thumb:

that dude should mold his front bumper, look on the side of the headlight. he has that ugly line of bodykit edge.

its the silvia s15 front end conversion kit. where you get it, i have no idea.

And is dam sexy if I may add.

yeah, imo, its the best front headlight conversion on a 2G dsm... If I ever did any conversion on mine, thats what i'd go for.

Right on, I'll see if I can search for a Silvia s15 kit, but if not I guess I could mold some fibre glass onto the hood. Thats probably what this guy did.

Ah ok, I found this thread. Seems like there's a lot of work involved. There's not a kit, that I'm aware of that will do this. It's all custom.

Good luck finding a set that meets your budget man, (unless of course you have money to spend) the headlights alone are hella expensive. :thumb:

i found some on ebay for buy it now for $589. :thumb:

Just gotta look for them.

i dont see the big deal, it's not that much of a difference from the stock headlights

Molding the front bumper may look good but from a practicality standpoint it is retarded. How would he ever remove his FMIC if he needed to or had a problem with it? Or do anythign else that you would need to remove the bumper for? There are too many things that require removing the bumper to even think of molding it unless you have a trailer queen that is never driven.

To answer the question about the lights they are, as mentioned, S15 headlights and would take lots of modification by a body shop to make them fit properly and I'm not positive that they are DOT approved.

yep, Silvia S15's, I think that's the first time I've seen em on an Eclipse. It's more common on 240sx's and once I saw it on an MR2.

Never seen it on an Eclipse? Where ya been?

You have to have both Fiberglass fenders and front bumper to do this. Its not going to be bolt on. Would be nice to have, but put the 1500 or so that its going to cost somewhere else. You can do a lot with 1500.

I think if you do it your slef you should b able to do it with about 200 in cost, but you might have to repaint.

That's why they look so good on the 2G. I can get those S15 lights easy here in Japan but it's the PITA conversion that turns me off.

i have never been a fan of huge crazy ass body kits or conversions, but i think that those headlights actually compliment the body lines of the 2gb very well. i would like to see how those would look on a factory 2gb front bumper. :thumb:

Here is some more......... IMHO the orange one was done the easiest and looks better than the others. The last pic is of the ones i just ordered, I am thinking about masking them in black to resemble the s15's or I might do the conversion since i didnt paint the car yet.
