How can I lower my boost?

I attempted to make this and followed the instructions to a T. The problem is that even when I have the bolt backed all the way out and the ball rattles a little it still boosts over 20 psi. My spring must be too strong or something. Anyway can I use my factory boost solenoid with a MAF-T setup? One vacumn line goes to the factory aircan which I no longer have on my car. I would just like to run stock boost for a little while until I can sort my problem out or get another boost controller. Thanks

I know that boost controllers such as the dejon tool have a bleeder hole which helps control boost, i am not sure if that has anything to do with it but thats all i can think of. Other than that, just get the mods to run 20psi and you are set.

Already have the bleeder hole but that doesn't help. I'm getting knock so I must lower the boost until I find my problem. I'm in the process of tuning it.

I tried making a homemade boost controller but couldn't get my car to boost below 20psi. I then tried hooking my factory boost solenoid back up but since I have the MAF-T setup I don't know where to hook the line that went to the air can. I tried to T it in to the BOV line but I'm still boosting over 20. Is there anyway possible to just return my car to stock boost until I can tune it?

ignore the stock BCS, just run a line from the wastegate and tee it into the line that goes from the bov to the intake manifold.

So I just cap the nipple on the J-pipe, correct?

You've managed to install it wrong.

I installed it using the same instructions that showed me how to build it. The side with the bleeder hole to the wastegate and the other line teed to the BOV/ intake man. The nipple on the J-pipe was capped. I'm also running the 3" GM mas in blow-thru configuration, would this matter?

Worked like a charm! Thanks

I also found that my boost controller was working as it should. It's just that my boost was spiking like crazy. If I get in to it it'll boost up to 20psi, then if I let off and get back on it, it stays rock solid at 12psi.

It's still doing that now even with the boost controller eliminated, I just don't get it.
