hot wire the fan ?

hey guys just wondering if any of you have ran a hot wire to your fan so you can run it at will ? If so did it improve the running temp / performence of the car. And another thing my car runs just shy of half way up the temp gauge is this normal? Any input is appricated

That's about where it's supposed to run, but of course the condition of your heat sensor will decide where it runs.
Yes, the fans can be manually controlled. However, it doesn't sound like you need to.

Yea actually it's not a good idea to manually run a fan...lets say your in a rush, someone else drives your car, or your still half asleep and you forget! That can be quite a "disaster". But it sounds like everything is OK with your car.

thanks for the input . yea ill probaly leave it be seem to me when you mess with stuff that isent broken it more than not ends up that way
