I have this intercooler pipe:

My friend gave it to me after he sold his GST a while back. I have no idea what brand it is. It's just been sitting in my closet, but I want to put it on my car now. I was looking under the hood and at the stock intercooler and It looks like i'm going to need some hose to connect it to the ic and to the throttle body, but i'm not sure what size to get, or what type. I looked around some hardware stores and some auto stores (chain stores like Autozone) and wasn't able to find what I need. Any ideas would be helpful.

i recommend silicon hoses dont go budget with rubber hoses because they will eventually harden and crack. The easiest way would be Just go get a ruler and measure it. I believe you need a 2 1/4" for the TB elbow TO UICP and 2 - 2 1/4" reducer for the IC TO UICP (dont quote me on this)

Most likely that IS a 2 1/4" pipe. You don't need reducers to hook to the stock SMIC-- it's only a hair smaller than 2 1/4" so straight couplers will work fine. Look on eBay for 2 1/4" ID silicone hose couplers or try most any good DSM vendor, such as RRE (which looks to be pretty close to you depending on where in LA you are).

Yeah, I measured the pipe and it's 2 1/4. I just wasn't sure what size the intercooler inlet was. Thanks for the tips. I'll try to find some silocone hose. If all else fails.. I think it's about a 30 minute drive or so to RRE..

just go to Turbo Performance in Van Nuys or any speed shop your ONLY getting Silicon Hoses no need to drive far.

Ah, thanks, that's much closer to me. I've had my car for a few years, but haven't done any upgrades other than the suspension and wheels, until recently, so finding decent shops that aren't overpriced will be something new for me to do.
