If I am getting an JDM engine with a cyclone intake and the shop leaves the us intake on would that change the hp in the engine? Does anyone know how to keep the cyclone intake on without the engine light coming on?

These may be stupid questions and I may not have done enough research, I am curious on how to keep all the hp in my n/t engine. Because the turbo engine is 195 usdm and 210 jdm and the n/t jdm is 180 hp now with the right mods I think I could hit 200 hp by the middle of the summer. Still a newbie so go easy guys I do alot of reading and haven't seen this for the n/t guys yet also is there a 13 sec n/t if not thats my goal. we need recognition too.

I was told it would take away around 5hp but since I have an intake and header that shouldn't matter so when I get my car back I should have around 180-190 horses. SO I should be at my goal of 200hp by the 3rd week of the summer with supporting mods but won't know until I put on dyno I will keep you posted.
