Hello, I'm new to this forum and yes i have tried at least to research what my problem is but i couldn't find a real answer.
the problem I'm experiencing with my '97 Eclipse rs on every cold start i get a horrible squeal. the squeal goes away after i rev it at least past 3k RPM's. I replaced both belts when i bought the car about 3 months ago and I've heard that it could be that its loose but i have tried to tighten it couple different times but still the same ol' problem with the horrible squeal. I've gone to auto zone and bought this spray for squeaky belts so i popped my hood and turned on the car and sprayed it while the belts were running. it stopped for a little bit but once i restarted my car on a cold start back to the annoying squeal.
if anyone can help me out with this that would be great and save me a lot of embarrassment when starting my car.
thanks in advanced

p.s i have bought a new pulley w/ the tensioner bolt since the bolt broke off while replacing the belts.
