Hey Guys,
I posted a while ago about this problem I'm having with my car. Here's the story again. Quite a while ago my Dad and I changed the belts and the water pump on my car. When I'd drive and turn the wheel hard either direction, there'd be a horrible noise from the power steering belt, and the belt slipped off four or five times. We realized that the pulleys were out of alignment. We fixed that, but the horrible screeching noise continued. We've tried tightening, loosening, and everything you could think of (belt dressing, etc.) So we figured it was a bad power steering pump. The screetching noise seems to come from the pulley on the top, which momentarily stops spinning. After about 4-5 months of trying new things, we replaced the pump the other day, and the noise continues. It happens when the car is cold, when I am stopped at a stop light, and whenever the A/C is on. The next thing we're going to look into is getting new tensioners. But we're kinda stumped. Anyone have any ideas or have had this happen and can help us out?

Thanks guys!
Alicia
