Hood Latch Stupidity

So I just reinstalled my hood after swaping in a six bolt... as soon as I push the hood down all the way, I realize that the wire for the hood release handle isn't connected. How do I open up the hood again? I've been trying to figure this out for the past few hours, but nothing has resulted in success. Does anyone have pictures of the latch assembly? Thanks for the help and I know... I'm an idiot.

well if you ever wanted to get a carbon fiber hood then you could just hack the old one off with a saw/grinder.

had a similar thing happen to me, i actually just touched my hood latch while i had the hood open and part of it went flying, and i could never find it. if i remmeber right i used a long screwdriver and wedged the "latching part" open. it took me a while though haha. good luck!
