Will I have problems with my carbon fiber hood flying off if I remove the latch and use the hood pins as the only locking mechanism?:hmm:

No you won't have any problems as long as they are installed correctly. Been 130+ at track with mine never once worried.
 
yah as long as they are installed right there should be no problem
keep an eye on your hood at regular driving for vibration and adjust as needed
 
Why remove the latch? It's like extra insurance if the pins fail like the pins are if the latch breaks.
