Homemade boost controller

I'm curious if there would be any benefit to using a plastic airsoft ball in a manual boost controller over a standard ball bearing/ceramic type ball. Or would it be too light to use in an application like this? Any ideas? The last mbc I made worked really well. Just toying with an idea.

ps. also another crazy idea. I wonder if an x mods suspension kit spring will work... :laugh:

You're best off with a regular bearing. Airsoft pellets are too soft, and will become dimpled from the seat. Some of the "deluxe" MBCs use ceramic balls, but it's just a gimmick.
