Where to get a good one and what can I expect to pay? I am looking for a HX35w or HX40w. Has anyone ever purchased one from this guy? Also looking to get a BEP housing. Will these things bolt up to stock manifold without a spacer between manifold and head? Do I need any extra intercooler piping if I go with a punishment racing intercooler like this?

I bought two Holsets from that same seller. Great items and prices and really fast shipping. You'll need to dent in the water pipe some to clear the compressor with the stock manifold, but other than that you should be fine. You'll probably be able to get the piping to work; it may need a little modification but you probably won't have to buy any more pipes. You'll want a 2.5" 90 degree silicone coupler though.

I buy most of my cores from them, actually. It should be known that most of their turbos are junkyard cores and need some attention before they are planned on being run. Some of them, however, can be bolted on and run right out of the box.

Not normally, but you may need to dent the shit out of your water pipe since you have a 2G.

As far as the FMIC is concerned, you should be fine. Punishment provides couplers for a downfiring turbo so you should be all set.

Like stated before it's getting tuff to find an hx40 at a reasonable price these days, but if your lookin for an hx35 get on a couple of the cummins forum boards, those guys are letting them go from 100 to about 250
