--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ok i have a 1998 eclipse gs-t with automatic, heres the scoop; i just bought this holset turbo, which is a hy35 and also got the rebuild kit for it and rebuilt it. my question is what supporting mods will i need to safely run this turbo on about 22-26 psi? my car is relitively stock, i just have 3 in turbo back, datalogger, greddy type s BOV and greddy piping(which will go cause im pretty sure ill need a FMIC). i know ill need bigger injectors, high flow fuel pump, Fmic, probally a MLS and ARP head studs, etc........ let me know if im on the right track.

ok well ill do my best to respond. You will need a lot of work done to throw that turbo on there and run it high boost. You will need a new intake for the size of the turbo inlet, FMIC, External wastegate if its not internally gated, large injectors, something to tune it like DSMlink, (S-AFC II might not be good enough for the amount of fuel you will want), Big fuel pump of course, AFPR, Exhaust, plenty of porting, and dont forget some engine work to reinforce the internals. That turbo can put down 500 horses.. to the ground.. so yeah.. its going to take some work.

the hy35 has a 9cm turbine housing so it might choke on you. The compressor is willing but the turbine maynot be. You will do better with the hx35 with has a 12cm and up turbine housing. Someone else please chyme in as i am still researching these for my multiport conquest
