holset turbo rebuilding

just wondering if anybody has any experience building holset turbos. my friend is giving me a free busted hx40 off his truck. the seals are bad and there is shaft play. i have a little experience in rebuilding mitsubishi turbos but i never even touched ball bearing turbos. now i am wondering if these are rebuildable and by the way the shaft and turbine are in good condition from what i have seen. any input on this subject would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Holset turbos are not ball-bearing units.
