holding back in high rpms and weird noise

Ok the other day my car started acting up i have stage 1 and stage 2 steps complete on dsm.org so thats all the cheapy mods i.e. exhaust, guages, boost controller, intake,bov........
when the turbo starts to kick in the car like hesitates and then like sputters through the gear and doesnt really spool up and makes a real weird noise like the exhaust is cutting out or something but it doesnt actually cut out, it struggles through the gear but u can hear the turbo working and boost goes up but it just feels like something is holding it from spooling i duno its hard 2 explain .......my theory is plugs/wires, clutch,and/or boost leaks...... but weird part is tonight i drove it and the car was spooling i was spinning first and second gear in high rpms Anyone know what this could of been or what i should do??

Do you have a logger? You could be getting a lot of knock which would retard timing and make your car want to hesitate. How high is your boost set? does changing boost level change the problem?

Check your plugs and wires first, then check for boost leaks.

my car got worse hesitates and sputters in low RPMS 2 well took a few days but my check engine light went on so easier to detect prob. on for cylinder 1 misfire which i hope means just plugs and wires i should get them in tonight thnx 4 input guys
