HKS Type-1 question

First, im not sure whether this was turbo or bolt-on, so i guessed
Second... yes i searched... all i found was an outdated TT for this question here:http://ca.dsm.org/FAQ/2gtt-faq.html

I recently ordered an HKS Type 1 US-Spec and the harness. I have the factory alarm in the car. Will it be inop. after the install? And is this outdated TT still the PROPER fix if the alarm IS inop.

The vehicle is a '97 GST BTW

I used this to install my HKS Type 1 & it works correctly & still have proper factory alarm operation.
