HKS TI Carbon Muffler

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a HKS Carbon TI Muffler for cheap? If anyone has one of these, how loud are they?

Good luck on finding one for cheap.

They are loud without a catalytic converter.

Also, if you want it to be full 3", you will have to cut off the first foot or so and weld on a 3" pipe and flange.

They look sexy and sound good. Just depends on if it is worth it to you.

You guys are not going to believe this but a buddy of mine was going to sell me one for $150 that was perfect, only used a month. A guy owed him $ so he got the pair of them for cheap and sold one to another buddy of ours, but couldn't get a hold of me because I was in Vegas at CES when he was looking to unload it. Talk about not being in the right place at the right time....

I think some of you guys are talking about just the muffler and some are talking about the whole exhaust system here because they didnt make the whole system for the 1G guys. So the one that you can buy for $150 must just be the muffler. You can try contacting RnR. They offer the HKS Carbon TI muffler on their exhausts. I know he has had issues with them being backordered before though, but it would be worth a shot.

I have one on my GSX for about 2000 miles and I love the exhaust. It's not loud when you are cruising but when you stomp on the gas - add the turbo spooling with the HKS and you got one engine concierto you can hear a block away.

It definitely woke up my GSX and I enjoy driving it more just listening to the exhaust. I would recommend it. It's around the $700 range but you cant go wrong with its looks and sound.
