Edmonton,
Deceleration:
My HKS bov blows off smoothly at any psi as long as I completely take my foot off the gas, and it will stutter blow off if I only partially release the gas pedal...

Acceleration:
If I go from no throttle to full throttle, it holds the pressure like it should. However, if I go from partial throttle to full throttle quickly, the BOV will stutter blow off as well, causing me to stutter accelerate.

My concern is the stuttering on acceleration, anyone else have this happening?

Sounds like either your vacuum line to the valve is loose/missing or the adjustment screw on the back is way loose. If it's neither of those, your valve might be defective.

vac line is fine, but the adjustment screw is loose... because this bov supposedly doesnt leak under any level of boost/vac...

it blows off nicer with the screw loose, but ill try tightening it and see if it doesnt stutter-blow off when accelerating

*Can be a sympton of your spring being too tight. A form of compressor surge.

AHHH! HKS BOV's dont cause compressor surge. The way they sound, sounds like compressor surge. Thats jsut the valve. Now there is a problem. When you have compressor surge (which I am beting you do) it can be hard to tell from the BOV noise.

And that screw is not for "BOV Sound"

Ok, hows this for a theory:

Now... why does a bov blow off...? I guess, less pressure in the intake mani as compared to the IC pipes. So, why would my bov blow off while accelerating? How about a leak somewhere after the TB elbow causing the pressure to be different in the mani? also explaining why I need to add fuel at idle (air getting in after the maf).

Also, it feels like some days my car is slower than others... like some days there is a leak, and some days there isnt? So I think I will try blocking the EGR valve and see what happens.
