Hks AFR Tuning help

So i got my afr all hooked up and started to do some tunning but i couldnt get it to work right. Then i noticed that the rpm where not reading correctly at all. Does anyone know how to set the rpms? Does it have to do with the 4 switches on the back or is there a bettter wire to tap into for the rpm signal. I heard the cam sensor signal works but i wasnt sure. I was reading and it said something about maybe having to set it on the AFR but i dont know how to do that and i tryed. So if anyone has any input on what might work it would help alot. Thanks

What do you mean it doesn't work right? Does it give a false reading, or just not show numbers at all?

its reads a false 2 digit number. Its says in the manual that rpms is read in 1/10 of the actual reading

I'm not so familiar with the HKS model, but on my S-AFC, I noticed I had to change my "Cylinders" option from 4, to 2. Now it reads fine.
