High/weird Idle

So i have a couple problems with my 'new' 91 gs turbo. The problem that i am addressing here is my high idle. I was idling at about 3000rpms. I fixed a leak i had at the TB-Manifold gasket. I also turned the BISS all the way down. I now idle between 1800-2000 rpms. What other things should I check? Also when i give it gas, say I tap the pedal and it reaches 3000 rpms, it will stay at around 2800 and then after about a minute or so will drop back down to the 1800 range. I am not very experience with the 1G. Anyone have any ideas?

Looks like a good read. But my car NEVER idles at 750 or around there. Lol I'll search some more and maybe see if there is a more related problems
