I just got done rebuilding motor and replacing clutch ect, my profile is up to date.

My first question, would a slightly bad rear end cause my rpms to be much higher when driving? At 55mph in 5th gear I'm at just over 3k and I'm at 70mph in 5th in my other gsx.

The other thing is I have FIAV deleted and have yet to compensate for it on link, would that have any effect on it? Now my idle is fine at 1200 rpms while cold but when its warmed up it idles at 3k with the clutch out and about 2200 with the clutch is pressed in. Which I assume it is from the lack of compensation at idle but that shouldnt have any effect on the driving rpms correct?

Thanks for the help in advance!

For your Idle issue, it sounds like you ISC motor is bad or disconnected. The ISC, when working correctly, will keep the idle below 1500 RPM. I would look into that.

Since you have a 5-speed, the only rearend that would affect your gear ratio would be form an Auto (that is 1g of course, they might be the same 5-speed/auto in the 2g). But, if the rear was the wrong ratio, you could also notice some binding in the drivetrain. Have you checked your clutch? It could be slipping a bit to move the RPM's higher, or maybe your tach is getting a bad signal/is bad?

Brand new ISC and it is plugged in because I'm not throwing any CEL's. And I have all stock rear end and transmission gearing. Clutch is brand new and havent even broken it in all the way, and its a stage 4 unsprung, its also at 3k at 55 regardless of the load on the engine! So I'm clueless right now. Tach signal is fine checked on my gps and dsmlink and they were both right on also.
