Ok so at high rpms between 5 and 7k its hard to shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. I have to wiggle it and force it in almost. Its almost if it dies down to 4k to 45k it will go in to gear. So if anyone has an idea whats wrong? I have just installed a ACT 2900 Clutch and new throw out bearing. Also it grabs close to the floor. And when im going all out and i shift before 5k it is okay. It will go in fine. I dont understand whats happening. So if you have a suggestion or any ideas please help thanks!

Your clutch is dragging.

Jacks Transmissions LLC — Clutch Drag Kills Synchros!

Put the car in gear on a nice flat surface, rev it to 7k RPM. Did it move forward on you?

Have you inspected the clutch pedal assembly? The smallest amount of play in the pedal will make your car not be able to disengage fully and the pedal will act like its on the floor.

Make sure all your transmission bolts are tight, and don't forget about the small M8 bolt going thru the transmission and into the block. Did you install the new dowel pins that ACT provides with their clutches?

LMao the spring broke in your shifter. Don't use ebay 'performance' parts unless they are genuine, in my opinion, bros

Even then, be sure to research parts extensively before you buy. Even the leading performance aftermarket parts have issues. There's usually one brand that really stands out above the rest and is race proven. Otherwise, genuine OEM would be your best bet - nothing is more thoroughly tested.

Yes i did. And yes i know!:p I regretted it once i bought it. It worked fine then got a lot of side to side play. then found out it was the spring then now its fine. But now its doing what its doing now.
