With all of us out there with high performance clutches, the question is... is there really a higher performance master/slave cylinder combo I could look at for my car? I know I need to replace them both as my hydraulics are having issues and a tough time shifting... or is it basically just it is, what it is, and the OEM cylinders will work on any clutch/transmission set up, up to 1000+ hp??

I'm about to buy OEM replacements from a local NAPA parts store near my house, but if anyone has had success with a better brand that I can purchase online for under $100, please let me know.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Yeah, it's called OEM. If you would have searched you would have seen this same thing come up yesterday.

The only upgrading you would benefit is getting ss braided lines for the clutch fluid to replace the stock rubber sections of the line.

The other question is how are you expecting to hit the 1k HP mark?

I replaced my clutch with an exedy stage 2 racing clutch and prolite flywheel, replaced the slave with exedy and tried a new oem master, oem does not match up at all with the exedy, having trouble every now and then with shifting, the shop I had the clutch installed at said that after they test drove it they knew it wasnt matching up, so now I have to hunt down a matching slave, so whatever you decide to buy make sure you buy the master cylinder and slave that are matching to avoid any headaches
