Posting this up for a friend.

His car : 1995 Eclipse GST
Mods : 98 blackbox ecu, 20g turbo, 3" exhaust, walbro 255, speed density, 1g cas(factory 2g cas went bad), fmic, fiav bypass plate.

The car has a high idle, usually between 1500-2500 rpms. Also, every time he comes to a stop the car shuts off.
He tried a different throttle body and known working isc's, but nothing has fixed the problem.

Anyone might have any ideas ?

As far as eclipse GST's you have to check on the fast idle control valve or pcv if it needs cleaning or replacement. Its located on the bottom of the throttle body. If i'm correct someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

hope this helps:thumb:..

Stubull is also correct to you can 1. Loosen the 2 TPS screws.
2. Put a feeler gauge of .0177" under the stop screw
3. Turn the car to the ON position
4. Rotate the TPS until pins 3 & 4 lose continuity (open)
5. Verify that the voltage between pins 2 & 4 is .4-1 volt with the feeler still in.
6. Tighten TPS bolts and remove feeler gauge.

hope this helps:thumb:...

Have you checked your MAF?
BLT would help if MAF checks out ok.

Don't think a TPS sensor would cause it to idle out and die usually it causes choking. But could be wrong.

What he did for now was disconnect the ISC and adjust idle through the BISS. At least the car idles now fine now. He did mention something that the car doesn't change behavior at all if the TPS is unplugged while the car is running. Shouldn't it do something at least? With the TPS connected, it's reading fine in the logs.
