High HP 16g guys airflow #s?

what are you guys seeing for airflow numbers? I just put togather a new combo and am looking to camepare notes on airflow. I am currently on 93oct btw.
 
I was seeing low 40s on pump gas around 24psi on the 16g last year when I hit my 12.60
 
the last log i made pulled 45.2 lbs/min at 7470 with 21.1 psi. there is still some left in it i think, jon do youu remember what mph that was at?
 
It all depends on air metering I'm sure.

I see 44lb/min which is supposedly what the evo3 is "capped" at, but I've seen it creep up to 48-49lb/min too. Whether the turbo is actually flowing that, or the estimate is off, I don't know.

This is with v3 running in speed density.
 
Yeah way to many factors to really good numbers. My 14b says it was flowing 33-35 lb/min doesnt mean it was really doing that LOL.

EDIT: I was running 28-30psi.
 
I saw 44lb/min. . . It was not accurate. I saw 42lb/min with the 1991 h1c and the bolton hx35 and made better MPH runs, better 70-90 times. So yes. accuracy of the airflow meter is very critical for such a question.

Im runing V3 in SD mode in My GVR4 with a small 16g and seeing measly airflow #'s. like 28 to 31lb/min at a spike to 25psi falling to 21psi. (car traps 116mph and weights 3100 with me)

I think the way the VE map vs AF target map vs global vs fuel trim sliders all affect the calculated airflow # to make it very inaccurate/inconsistent

Edit: what I meant to say is that one person's particular "method" of tuning within DSMlink can change the way airflow is calculated.

I agree, there is lots of stuff that can make these numbers inconsistent. mine also was with v3 on sd setup.
 
Well I think dsmonster saw my 16g graph and the boost est was spot on at 5.5k and it fell of gradually like it is supposed to. It was 12.60 at 109 with a 1.7 60.. That was 24 psi on a BONE stock 7 bolt.. Almost maxxing out(safety) my 680s.. Like 90% idcs I think I remember seeing 43lb/min.. On the hx35 I see 50lb/min with the stroker cams and intake manifold at same boost level.. I got my 70-90 down to 1.85ish where on the 16g I think I was pulling off 2.15 70-90s
 
Yes, I remember your logs. They were deadnuts and boostest dropped off exactly like it should have after 5500rpms.

The ONLY problem with speeddensity is that you have to be SURE you have no boost leaks; you have to be SURE your map sensor is accurate, not just consistant; you have to be SURE of your VE tables. Then the airflow number calculated will be accurate.
