High Engine Temp at Idle

Lately my stock engine temp guage (as innaccurate as it probably is) has been showing high temps while at idle, however, right when the car starts moving the engine temp drops back down to normal. any ideas of what could be the reasoning behind this high temp at idle? anything i should look for? thanks for any kind of help.

Thermostat and/or Radiator Cap

Are your radiator fans coming on at all? They should kick on around 210* and the A/C fan should kick on when you turn your A/C on.
