High beams, low beams?

They will melt the connectors over time....

Then they are Halogen, not Xenon. Two totally different things.

A halogen lamp is an incandescent lamp with a tungsten filament contained within an inert gas and a small amount of a halogen such as iodine or bromine. The combination of the halogen gas and the tungsten filament produces a chemical reaction known as a halogen cycle

A xenon arc lamp is an artificial light source. Powered by electricity, it uses ionized xenon gas to produce a bright white light that closely mimics natural daylight.

100W can be used however it is a different socket and would require a Relay setup with larger wires to avoid catching your car on fire.

Automotive HID lamps are commonly called "xenon headlamps", though they are actually metal halide lamps that contain xenon gas.

why dont you just hids? hella cheap...

Most people are skidish about HID's cause 95% of the HID Kits sold that people install in Reflector housings don't have any block off cylinder which prevents Unwanted glare. And a lot of people talk mad sheit about people that do HID's that way.

Prob the cause.

Blurred is correct
If they say that they're "xenon" then it's just marketing.
Xenon burners are not plug and play. It's a whole different system.

I bought a set of hids off ebay that have a two year warranty for 36 bucks. They might not be anything high profile but they plug n play and look great.

^ and blind other drivers.

Not Mine! :nono: Thats just the idiot way. Remember there are D2R and D2S Projector Bulbs. D2S in a Reflector housing is a No No and blind others. D2R has a large cylinder that goes over the bulb to prevent light from shooting in the wrong directions, as well as a metal film on the bulb itself in specific locations to prevent glare or haze. AKA No Glare! AKA OEM Looking HID's. D2R housings are virtually identical as normal Reflector housings. But Reflector housings don't have the cylinder.

I always request D2R when I order a cheap HID Kit.

Plus I agree with Eugene. HID is better period! No matter what any of you say, your wrong! From a Scientific and Medical Stand Point. Studies have proved that the light frequency of an HID bulb in our eyes is safer than a Halogen. I'd rather look at a super bright HID than a super bright glaring Halogen. I can't stand it. I'm even driving a Lifted Jeep, I'm higher up than others and it hurts my eyes. I Say No to Halogen!

Also same study proved Blue lights (in your gauge cluster) are more pleasing to your senses than others and doesn't cause you to fall asleep while driving.

Unless you're buying HID's with the cutoffs you should NOT be installing them in a regular reflector housing. Like stated an HID is meant to have focused light and a reflector will throw light everywhere making light output worse, and blind other drivers.

DDMtuning.com is by far the best place to buy your HID's. They have slim ballasts and come with a lifetime, no questions asked, warranty for $45 shipped.

Its not the bulb, Its the accessories with the bulb that is the problem. If you look at an H4 bulb you'll see the low beam has this plate under the filament that doesn't allow light to go onto the high beam section. an HID bulb doesn't have this, even real D2R Bulbs don't. they have some preventative shit added to them. But not the main toy, the Cylinder. Those don't come with HID Kits, you'd have to order them from a retrofit company or find a car at U Pull It with HID's.

Here you can see one of them Cylinders. They are easy to make and to install if you get them for the right kinda bulb. All you have to do is block 40% of the bottom of the bulb to prevent glare.
